WaPo: DC #Marijuana Arrests Way Way Down – Still Discriminatory

The Washington Post reports that DC marijuana are on track towards 300 annual arrests following February’s passage of Initiative 71 legalizing marijuana in the District. This compare with almost 6,000 per year prior to the change in law. Despite this huge gain, graphs included in the story show the vast majority of the arrests still occur in low-income areas.
