DC Council Hearing Dates for Decriminalization Bill Set

The District of Columbia Council will hold public hearings on a proposed bill to decriminalize possession of small amounts of marijuana (up to one ounce).

The hearings, which are open to the public, are scheduled as follows:

Wednesday night, October 23rd, at the Anacostia Neighborhood Library, from 6:30 pm to 9 pm.  Individuals are limited to 3 minutes.  Organizations, 5 minutes.

Thursday, October 24th, at the Wilson Building, beginning at 11:30 am.
